This is the third spring for us in this house and the flowers are finally starting to look like something.
| First we had few tulips. |
| Then the iris... |
Then the lilacs...
| The thrifts are just starting. Note the robin's nest with 3 eggs! |
| These peonies bloomed successfully for the first time! |
My goal is to try and have something blooming all summer. The yellow yarrow is just opening now and the red yarrow won't be far behind. If the sun doesn't start shining soon, everything will drown in the rain.
Fencing the back yard is our first step towards getting a puppy in the fall.
| AFL Fences--setting the poles and getting them level. |
| Travis, Travis and crew were great to work with! |
| ...enjoying an afternoon paddle on Wildwood Lake |
Uncle Jeff and Aunt Karen, two of our favorite guests, joined us for the weekend. They were en route from Mount Dora,Florida to Alcova, WY where they will spend the summer.
| A lovely dinner at the Green Gateau |
| Lindsay and boyfriend ,Jeff, joined us for the afternoon. |
| Celeste gets to meet her great, great Uncle Jeff and Aunt Karen. (See the completed fence in the background?) |
| Anna and Jake also stopped by to see Karen and Jeff. |
It was a busy weekend, but we loved having the White Family gather at our home.
