Dream come true

Our Covid-19 social gatherings are a little different.  It has been our custom to meet weekly for breakfast with Rusty's music buddies.  Here we are gathered for the first time in 4 months on Ed and Loretta's patio.

Everyone wore a mask for at least part of the gathering.

About half of our group is in their 70's, the rest in their 80's.

One of our dinner groups is finding a way to meet "picnic style" with everyone bringing their own food and drink.
Evening walk on Lou and Karl's 40 acres.

The neighbor kids' activities have not been changed much by Covid-19.  I know all of them by name and enjoy when they stop by to say "hi."

Ava, Hailey and Jason often walk the path in my garden.

My garden looks lovely and is producing well.
To no one's surprise, the zucchini and squash are very productive!

Not bad for mid-July

My morning routine of prayer, coffee, and a garden walk.

It's official!  The cabin is ours!
On Rusty's 72nd birthday we took ownership.

Minnesota was settled by Fins and Swedes and Norwegians.  Olaf was a king of Norway near the end of the first century.  We took the acronym of our daughters' names and used it for the cabin.  (Olivia, Lindsay, Anna, Felicia)

Gretchen loved the wilderness and all of its critters.

When it was time to leave, our solos were stored inside and the tandem was under the porch.
