My cousins, Terri and Jim Huston, have a handsome 25 ft. sailboat.  They invited us to go on an evening sail and watch the sunset.  The weather was sunny, breezy, warm and perfect!

Terri does the sail work.
Captain Jim guides the boat and calls the commands.

Captain Jim gives Rusty a lesson.

Rusty takes the helm.

I get the best seat in the house, I mean boat.

The sunset was beautiful!
And speaking of beautiful, so is Terri!

Thanks, Hustons, for a lovely evening!

Olivia and the boys joined us for the weekend.  It was hot and humid, but that didn't slow us down much.

I took them to my volunteer effort, the St. Francis Garden, to pick vegetables.
See these red tomatoes?

Reece has a heavy bag of zucchini.

Pierce picks peppers.

"I found a good beet!"

Reece washes the mud off the beets.

Reece, Pierce, GiGi, and bags of garden produce.

We also went to the neighbor's house to jump on the trampoline.  Reece and Pierce had a great time!

Lots of laughs!
Olivia had a good time too!

The next morning we went to church at First Plymouth.  Pastor Jim was in CA, so Pastor Jacob filled in.  Jacob is very involved with the deaf community, so he had an interpreter signing for the hearing impaired.  Rusty sang with the choir.
We were in the first pew on the left.  I'm in the hat, of course.

After church, Olivia, Pierce, Reece and I loaded up our bikes and drove to the Antelope Valley Project bike trails.
I'm so proud of Lincoln for creating this gorgeous space!

Despite the heat, we rode our bikes for several miles.  Pierce and Reece loved the bridges and the tunnels.

Before we returned to the car, we found a spray park that helped take the edge off the heat.
Feels great!

Climbing challenges.

I nearly puked just watching the boys spin in this thing.
Some snuggle time.

Thanks, Olivia, Reece and Pierce for joining us.  We loved it!  Please come again soon!
